To be connected: Supporting self-regulated learning in higher music education before and during the pandemic

In online learning, students are expected to take on more responsibility for their education, while teachers support students' self-regulated learning (SRL) skills. this research, we explore whether young musicians perceive a difference in the actions that major music teacher (MMT) took SRL skills before and during pandemic, investigate view how MMT could further learning. The sample included 144 of Faculty Music Belgrade, who filled inventory comprised 24 questions - 17 parallel Likert-type items (referring MMT's supporting skills, pandemic), one question was short letter MMT. Data were analysed using dependent t-test, ANOVA reflexive thematic analysis. Students perceived encouraged than pandemic. Additionally, our findings show did not have in-person communication, separately, with MMTs they had lower self-regulate from qualitative analysis inform educational practice by pointing specific teacher's as important development.
